Guitar4mation is an international guitar quartet. The group’s lineup reflects the diversity of its artistic qualities. Petr Saidl (Czech Republic), Michal Nagy (Poland), Campbell Diamond (Australia), and Martin Schwarz (Austria) each bring their own individual strengths and preferences to the group.
Guitar4mation breaks new ground—in search of unheard-of repertoire, concert programs beyond convention, and an ensemble sound full of intensity and intimacy. Exclusively original arrangements give each Guitar4mation concert its very special character, ranging from the deeply serious to the thoroughly humorous.
The ensemble’s repertoire ranges from “stolen” 19th-century piano music to contemporary works, from Latin American folklore to jazz and pop. The magic of the guitar sound is further enhanced by the use of two eight-string guitars; all arrangements are democratically organized, so that the leading voices constantly change.
Guitar4mation has performed in many European countries and has released several albums on Polski Nagrania Edition (Warsaw), Kreuzberg Records (Berlin), and Gramola (Vienna). The recordings include works by Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Karol Szymanowski, Cole Porter, Astor Piazzolla, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, and others.

Gabriel Bianco is a passionate musician who is known not only as a soloist but also for his enthusiastic dedication to chamber music. Whether playing the modern or the romantic guitar, his repertoire includes both the major works for his instrument and lesser-known pieces. Gabriel Bianco, born in Paris in 1988, graduated in classical guitar in 2008 and in chamber music in 2015 from the Conservatoire de Paris.
After winning first prize at the prestigious international competition of the Guitar Foundation of America in 2008, he began his solo career, which has taken him to some fifty countries: He has performed in renowned venues such as the Théâtre du Châtelet (Paris), the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Moscow), the Herbst Theatre (San Francisco), the Luis Ángel Arango Auditorium (Bogotá), the Central Conservatory (Beijing), the Musashino Art Center and Yamaha Hall (Tokyo), and the Philharmonic Hall in Kyiv.
Since 2018, Gabriel Bianco has taught classical guitar at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. He gives master classes at the Royal College in London, the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique in Paris, the Manhattan School in New York, the Central Conservatory in Beijing, the Conservatory of Music in Melbourne, and the universities of Arizona and Florida.

Kanahi Yamashita was born in Nagasaki in 1997 and received her musical training from her parents, guitarist Kazuhito Yamashita and composer Keiko Fujiie. Even as a child, she performed worldwide with the “Kazuhito Yamashita Family Quintet”; at the age of 13, she made her solo debut alongside her father during a series of international concerts. She has lived in Berlin since 2015, where she studied with Prof. T. Müller-Pering at the Berlin University of the Arts and with Prof. B. Colell at the Nuremberg University of Music, and began her concert exam in 2023.
As a soloist, she performs at festivals in Europe, Mexico, China, and Australia and enjoys international recognition. In Japan, she has attracted particular attention since her 2024 solo tour and has performed there with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. A first U.S. tour is planned for 2026. She is also very active in chamber music: in 2025, “Duo Musubi” (flute: Malin Sieberns) won the Gerhard Vogt Chamber Music Competition, followed in 2026 by a South American tour with violinist Mayumi Kanagawa as “Duo Lotos.”
Her CD featuring works by C. Domeniconi was released in 2021. She has appeared on BR Klassik (“On Stage,” 2023) and NHK-FM (“Recital Passio,” 2024), among others. Kanahi is a prize winner at several international competitions, including the 2019 German Guitar Prize, and was a semifinalist at the 2017 ARD Music Competition in Munich. She was a scholarship recipient of the Yamaha Music Foundation and the Rohm Music Foundation and has been a D’Addario Artist since 2021.

Tillmann Reinbeck studied with Luis Martin Diego and Michael Hampel at the Trossingen University of Music, as well as with José Tomás in Alicante. In 2003, he completed his concert exam with Olaf Van Gonnissen, graduating with honors. Following successes in international competitions, he performs worldwide. He teaches at the State Universities of Music in Stuttgart and Trossingen. In 2002, the critically acclaimed CD “Invocación y Danza” was released by Acoustic Music Records. Since 2005, Tillmann Reinbeck has served as a lecturer in guitar at the State Universities of
Music in Stuttgart and Trossingen. He is a competent and conscientious teacher, active as a soloist, and a member of innovative chamber music projects, such as the Aleph Guitar Quartet. In 2019, Tillmann Reinbeck was appointed professor at the Stuttgart University of Music.

Mateus Dela Fonte is a prize winner at numerous guitar competitions. He studied in Salvador (Brazil), Barcelona, Madrid, and Stuttgart under teachers including Mario Ulloa, Àlex Garrobé, and Johannes Monno.
Concerts have taken him to various countries in Europe and Latin America. As a soloist, chamber musician, lecturer, and juror, he has been a guest at festivals such as the International Guitar Festival Mikulov (Czech Republic), the International Guitar Festival Balatonfüred (Hungary), and the International Guitar Festival Guitarmania (Portugal).
His second CD, “Paisagem Brasileira – Brazilian Landscape,” was released in 2013 and is dedicated to the music of his homeland—in particular the Brazilian instrumental style known as choro. Part of the CD features a duet with flutist Vítor Diniz.
In the 2013–14 winter semester, Mateus Dela Fonte was appointed to teach guitar with a focus on chamber music at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.

Katrin Klingeberg began her studies as a young student at the Stuttgart University of Music under Ihsan Turnagöl and continued them at the universities of music in Hanover, Lucerne, and Weimar. Most recently, she studied in Prof. Thomas Müller-Pering’s concert class at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar and completed her concert exam in 2014. At the same time, she completed a master’s degree and subsequent concert exam in chamber music with her partner Sebastián Montes under the renowned Kaltchev Guitar Duo at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts. After winning numerous first prizes at international competitions, the Klingeberg-Montes Guitar Duo is one of the most sought-after guitar duos on the international guitar scene.
Katrin Klingeberg has performed successfully in many countries in Europe and South America, as well as in Japan and the USA. She is regularly invited to teach masterclasses and serve as a jury member at festivals and competitions. Since 2015, Katrin Klingeberg and Sebastián Montes have served as artistic directors of the Nürtingen International Guitar Festival, one of the most significant guitar festivals in Europe. Since 2016, Katrin Klingeberg has held a teaching position at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts.
